Siengsaw are training with her draw horse Templario at FEI WJC Final 2013. They are in Warm-up competition yesterday at 115cm, 1 fence down at Fence 3. The ones to watch - riders from Colombia, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia.

The 1st qualifier for Semi-Final 120cm will be on today! Finger crossed!

น้องซอ หรือ เสียงซอ เลิศรัตนชัย หนึ่งในนักกีฬาเยาวชนแถวหน้าของไทย ประเภทขี่ม้ากระโดดข้ามเครื่องกีดขวาง กำลังจะเข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน FEI World Jumping Challenge 2013 ในรอบ FINAL ที่จัดขึ้นที่เมือง การากัส ประเทศเวเนซุเอล่า ระหว่างวันที่ 17-23 มิถุนายนนี้  โดยมีนักกีฬาจากทั่วโลกเข้าร่วมทั้งสิ้น 20 คน* จาก 10 โซน หรือ 10 ภูมิภาค (โซนในที่นี้ แบ่งตามการจัดกลุ่มของสหพันธ์ขี่ม้านานาชาติ หรือ FEI) และจะทำการแข่งขันโดยใช้ม้าจับฉลาก (borrowed horse competition)

สำหรับการแข่งขันในรอบ FINAL  แบ่งออกเป็นการแข่งขัน 5 รอบ คือ

- Warm-up Competition

- 1st Qualifying Competition for the Semi-Final

- 2nd Qualifying Competition for the Semi-Final

- Semi-Final

- Farewell Competition

- Final with rotation of athletes

Rules
- The Warm-up competition is open to all athletes
- The 1st and 2nd Qualifying competitions for the Semi-Final are open to all athlete.
- The Semi-Final is open to the top 60 % of the athletes (including those placed equal for last place) according to the cumulative penalties over the 1st and 2nd Qualifying competitions. Those not qualified for the Semi-Final take part in the Farewell competition.
- The Farewell competition is open to the athletes not qualified to participate at the Semi-Final including those who have not finished one Qualifying competition.
- The Final is open to the best 4 athletes after the Semi-Final. It consists on a rotation of athletes. 

*นักกีฬาที่ได้ไปร่วมแข่งขันในรอบ FINAL คัดเลือกมาจากนักกีฬาที่มีคะแนนดีที่สุดเพียงสองคนของแต่ละโซน จากตลอด 1 ปี (2012) ที่มีการแข่งขันรายการ FEI World Jumping Challenge Category A (ระดับความสูง 120 cm) โดยเสียงซอ เป็นหนึ่งในนักกีฬาเพียงสองคนที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกจาก โซน 9 ในภูมิภาคเอเชียใต้และเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ อันประกอบด้วย ประเทศ อินเดีย อินโดนีเซีย มาเลเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ สิงคโปร์ และประเทศไทย โดยนักกีฬาอีกคนได้แก่ Janine Khoo จากประเทศสิงคโปร์ ที่มีคะแนนมาเป็นอันดับหนึ่งของโซน 9

การแข่งขันขี่ม้ากระโดดข้ามเครื่องกีดขวาง FEI World Jumping Challenge FINAL จัดขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี 2001 ภายใต้สปอนเซอร์หลักอย่าง PSI  โดยจัดควบคู่ไปกับการแข่งขัน Dressage ที่คอกม้า Kasselman ในกรุงฮาเก้น ประเทศเยอรมนี  ต่อมา 5 ปีให้หลัง การแข่งขันในรอบ FINAL ได้ย้ายไปจัดแข่งที่ประเทศชิลี ในภูมิภาคอเมริกาใต้ ภายใต้การดูแลของสมาคมขี่ม้าแห่งประเทศชิลี

Thailand Equestrian National Selection for SEA Games 2013 at Naypyidaw, Myanmar

เมื่อวันที่ 31 พฤษภาคมที่ผ่านมา สมาคมขี่ม้าแห่งประเทศไทย ได้ประกาศหลักเกณฑ์การแข่งขันคัดตัวเพื่อเฟ้นหานักกีฬาทีมชาติไทยไปแข่งขันซีเกมส์ปลายปีนี้ ที่กรุงเนปิดอว์ ประเทศพม่า โดยทำการคัดตัวนักกีฬาใน 3 ประเภท คือ เดรสซาจ จัมปิ๊ง และเอ็นดูแรนซ์ 

สำหรับการแข่งขันครั้งนี้ สมาคมขี่ม้าฯได้เชิญชวนให้อดีตนักกีฬาทีมชาติ ไม่ว่าจะขี่ม้าประเภทใดก็ได้ มาทำการแข่งขันคัดตัวด้วย งานนี้เราคงได้เห็นอดีตนักกีฬาทีมชาติ รุ่นพี่ รุ่นเพื่อนของเรา โชว์ฝีไม้ลายมือในกีฬาขี่ม้าประเภทอื่นอีกหลายคนครับ

หมดเขตรับสมัคร 14 มิย. นี้ครับ รีบๆกันหน่อยนะครับ! แล้วเจอกันอาทิตย์หน้านี้ :)

Congratulations to Mr. Eunchul Shin who was elected as the new President of Asian Equestrian Federation during the AEF General Assembly on 28th May 2013 in Seoul, South Korea. 

Mr. Eunchul Shin also serves as the President of Korean Equestrian Federation  (since June 2012) and also the CEO & Vice Chairman of Korea Life Insurance. Mr. Shin Graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies with a degree in German.

Mr. Eunchul Shin, the new AEF President and Col. Fuangvich Aniruth-Deva, Secretary General of Thailand Equestrian Federation.

The Asian Equestrian Federation (AEF) first came into being in 1978, and was recognised by the FEI as a body which would promote and ensure the growth of equestrian sports in the Asian region. The AEF statutes state that AEF shall provide all guidance and assistance to NF in the (Asian Games) organisation and all conduct of equestrian sports will be according to FEI Rules. Therefore, the Asian Games are subject to FEI rules as far as all for technical aspects are concerned, while the FEI ensures the technical control of all equestrian sports at the Asian Games.

The next and 17th edition of the Asian Games will take place in Incheon, South Korea from 20 September - 1 October 2014.

Dressage (20 - 24 September)
Eventing CCI* (24 - 27 September)
Jumping (28 September - 1 October)
