SHOW JUMPING DAY (Monday 25 April):
Mark Todd AKA "Toddy" (NZL) and his horse NZB Land Vision finally won the Badminton Horse Trials 2011 today!!
With 55 years of age, Mark Todd is the oldest competitor in the show. He was a 3-times Champion of Badminton Horse Trials in year 1980, 1994 and 1996. And 31 years after his first win, he gained the title of Badminton Champion for the fourth time in his life this year!
The Second place went to Piggy French and Jakata while Mary King and Imperial Cavalier came Third.

BACKGROUND OF THE EVENT:
The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials is the first leg of the HSBC FEI Classics - the pinnacle of international eventing. The next leg will be held at Kentucky, USA on 28 April - 1 May 2011.

HSBC FEI Classics™ prize money
Over the next three years, HSBC will be contributing US$1 million in prize money, which represents the biggest prize fund on offer in Eventing on an annual basis.
At the end of the season, the five riders with the highest number of points collected among the five HSBC FEI Classics™ 2011 events are awarded their share of a total prize pot of US$333,000, split as follows:
